"The wealthy, not only by private fraud but also by common laws, do every day pluck and snatch away from the people some part of their daily living. Therefore, when I consider and weigh in my mind these commonwealths which nowadays do flourish, I perceive nothing but a certain conspiracy of rich men in procuring their own commodities under the name and authority of the commonwealth.

They invent and devise all means and crafts, first how to keep safely without fear of losing that which they have unjustly gathered together, and next how to hire and abuse the work and labor of the people for as little money and effort as possible."

Hey Coldie,

thanks for the CNN screen which showed the Ralph Nader Election Night interview. It should be a must-see for all progressives, as well as, those who think Obama will make a discinct difference.

Is there a direct link to post that i could paste onto Shaved or Rue-y's site(s)? I wanna show those guys why I voted for Nader.

Check out front page of Reader with cartoon Obama and "Please Don't Screw This Up." Some folks mad. Although they did have a McCain cover and "Please Don't Die," if he won.

Lefty that screen to the left on my home page is from The Real News and they rotate the segments every few days or so. There is usually 10 or so stories to choose from at any given time.

And Nader is absolutely correct, there is no fire in Obama's belly to speak of, but then I don't believe he's motivated to challenge the system in the first place for clearly he embraces it. Now he'll get to manage it.
