"The wealthy, not only by private fraud but also by common laws, do every day pluck and snatch away from the people some part of their daily living. Therefore, when I consider and weigh in my mind these commonwealths which nowadays do flourish, I perceive nothing but a certain conspiracy of rich men in procuring their own commodities under the name and authority of the commonwealth.

They invent and devise all means and crafts, first how to keep safely without fear of losing that which they have unjustly gathered together, and next how to hire and abuse the work and labor of the people for as little money and effort as possible."

I like the very last bit which follows the commercial at the end of the interview. "ABC cancels Who Wants to Save Africa after two episodes." How true.

Well, it looks that the nomination may go all the way to the convention. that would be a hoot.

Oh yea, Coldie,

I forgot. Did you see the extra section in this month's edition of your namesake? Downing street's influence on newspapers?

I haven't caught it yet Lefty I'll stop by and read it today. And yes, Hillary survives--troubling in and of itself--but even more so when you realize that she took Ohio which has had its manufacturing sector devastated by the "free trade" hoax NAFTA and other anti-union policies championed by her husband. Hillary fully supports NAFTA and the extention of these investor-rights agreements throughout the Americas and does not hide the fact. This was an astounding display of stupidity on the part of Ohio voters in my view, but then again voting against our interests is hardly a recent phenomenon in America.
